Furla ‘Progetto Italia’
About This Project
The new creative, productive, research and experimentation center of the well-known brand of leather goods FURLA was born in Tavarnelle Val di Pesa, in the province of Florence on the Chianti hills, place with tradition, culture, history and craftsmanship. The project, winner of the 10th Architizer A + Award for the “mixed use” category and candidate for the 2022 Tuscan Architecture Award among new buildings, bears the signature of the well-known architecture studio Geza Gri e Zucchi and was built by Baraclit.
The complex was designed to integrate harmoniously into the hilly site: the main entrance reflects the archetype of the accesses to the Tuscan villas with a long row of cypresses. Nature is present seamlessly. The precast black concrete walls were made with standard formliners Reckli 2/76 Nil (roughcast effect) and 2/81 Plafond (smooth effect) formliners.
